Tribal areas electric supply company (TESCO) is an electricity distribution company operating under the administrative control of PEPCO and Energy ministry. The company is responsible to provide electricity in tribal areas and FRs. As it covers huge area, the TESCO complaint ratio is also high. Therefore, the company has established helpline and complaint Centre to tackle with the issues related to electricity.
TESCO was formed in August 2004 and since then it distributes and manages the electricity supply in tribal areas of Pakistan. The TESCO staff carries out the construction work of 11 kV transmission line and 132/66 kV line. Moreover, the maintenance is also carried out by SS&TL TESCO Peshawar division.
